TVS Motor Company has rolled out an updated version of its popular Apache RTR 160 4V, now equipped with golden USD front forks. Priced at Rs 1.40 lakh, ex-showroom, this new variant is the most expensive in the lineup, costing just over Rs 500 more than the previous top-of-the-line variant.

Besides being equipped with USD forks, the updated Apache RTR 160 4V gets refreshed graphics and will be available across three colour options: Granite Grey, Matte Black, and Pearl White. Besides that, it features red alloy wheels, giving it a sportier look.

In terms of features, the motorcycle comes packed with the TVS SmartXonnect system. It gets features such as turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, race telemetry, adjustable brake and clutch levers, lean angle mode, crash alert, low fuel warning & assist, and more.
As for the engine, the Apache RTR 160 4V remains powered by a 159.7cc oil-cooled motor that belts out 17.55 hp and 14.73 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a five-speed gearbox and offers three riding modes: Sport, Urban, and Rain. The motorcycle can achieve a top-speed of 114 kmph. The Apache RTR 160 4V now directly challenges rivals like the Bajaj Pulsar N160, priced similarly at Rs 1.40 lakh, and the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, which costs slightly less at Rs 1.39 lakh.
