Skoda Auto India has announced the full price list of the new Skoda Kylaq compact SUV. The company had previously announced only the entry-level price and the bookings for the SUV have begun from today. Interested customers can book the car online or by visiting their nearest dealership. The booking amount is set at Rs 11,000.
The new Kylaq will be showcased to the public at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo and the deliveries are scheduled to commence on 27 January 2025. The new compact SUV from Skoda will compete with already established rivals such as the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza and also upcoming Kia Syros. Skoda Kylaq: Overview
Before the price, variants comparison let’s take a look at the details of the Kylaq. In terms of design, the design is in line with other Skoda models with signature grille sleek LED DRLs and split headlights. It features L-shaped LED taillights with a bold ‘Skoda’ badge in the centre and it also appears to have a chunky rear bumper and roof rails. Overall, it looks like a mini Kushaq with a few changes. The Kylaq is based on the brand’s MQB-A0-IN platform and measures less than four metres in length. The Kylaq measures 3,995 mm in length, 1975 mm in width, 1575 mm in height and has a 2,566 mm wheelbase with a ground clearance of 189 mm.

In terms of features, the Kylaq comes packed. It’s offered with an 8.0-inch fully digital cluster, 10.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, connected car tech, powered both front seats, 2-spoke steering wheel, semi-leatherette seat upholstery, single-pane sunroof, ventilated seats, ambient lighting, and a six-speaker Canton sound system. Safety-wise, it gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, ISOFIX child seat mounts, three-point seatbelts for all occupants, a reverse parking camera with sensors and more.
Skoda Kylaq: Variants and pricing
The Kylaq is available in four variants – Classic, Signature, Signature Plus, and Prestige. It’s offered with a single 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol engine with 115 hp of power and 178 nm of torque. Gearbox options will include a 6-speed torque converter and a 6-speed manual gearbox. The entry-level Classic trim is offered only with a 6-speed MT transmission and is priced at 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The Signature trim is offered in both manual gearbox and is priced at Rs 9.59 lakh and Rs 10.59 lakh, respectively. The mid-spec Signature Plus trim is offered with both a 6-speed MT gearbox priced at Rs 11.40 lakh and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox which is priced at Rs 12.40 lakh (both prices ex-showroom). The top-of-the-line Prestige trim too is offered with both a 6-speed MT gearbox priced at Rs 13.35 lakh and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox which is priced at Rs 14.4 lakh (both prices ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Variants and Pricing
The Brezza is offered in a total of 10 variants – LXI, LXI CNG, VXI, VXI AT, VXI CNG, ZXI, ZXI CNG, ZXI AT, ZXI plus and ZXI plus AT. The entry-level LXI is priced at Rs 8.34 lakh, LXI CNG at 9.28 lakh, VXI at Rs 9.69 lakh, VXI CNG at Rs 10.65 lakh, VXI AT at Rs 11.09 lakh, ZXI at Rs 11.14 lakh, ZXI CNG at Rs 12.09 lakh, ZXI AT at Rs 12.54 lakh, ZXI plus at 12.58 lakh and top-of-the-line ZXI plus AT at Rs 13.98 lakh (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom).
Hyundai Venue: Variants and pricing
The Hyundai Venue is offered in E, E Plus, S, S Plus, S (O), S(O) Plus, SX and SX (O). Additionally, it’s also offered special editions such as Adventure edition from S (O) plus variants and Knight edition from SX variants. The Price for the base spec E starts from Rs 9.63 lakh, E Plus at 9.98 lakh, S at 11.03 lakh, S Plus at 11.32 lakh, S(O) at 11.96 lakh, S (O) Plus at Rs 12.09 lakh, SX at 13.82 lakh and top-spec SX(O) at 15.5 lakh (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom).
The Skoda Kodiaq offers the lowest starting price of Rs 7.89 lakh. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza starts at Rs 8.34 lakh, and offers multiple variants up to Rs 13.98 lakh. The Hyundai Venue starts at Rs 9.63 lakh and reachesRs ₹15.5 lakh for the highest variant. If you’re considering the base models, the Skoda Kodiaq is the most affordable, but as you go up in variants, the Brezza and Venue may offer higher feature-rich trims for a higher price.
