Ducati price hike: Why is the company revising prices

The increase comes as Ducati responds to rising operational expenses and escalating commodity prices. The company has yet to disclose the exact percentage of the hike or the specific models impacted. However, Bipul Chandra, Managing Director of Ducati India, explained, “Due to an increase in operational costs driven by overall inflation and increased commodity prices, this price correction will be introduced across selected models from the Ducati range”

Ducati currently offers a range of motorcycles in India, with prices starting at Rs 10.39 lakh for the Scrambler Icon 2G and climbing up to Rs 69.99 lakh for the Panigale V4 R homologation special, ex-showroom. While the adjustments are expected to affect several models, potential customers will need to wait for further details on which variants will see a revised price tag.
Despite the price hike, Ducati’s focus on expanding its Indian portfolio remains strong. Over the past few months, the company has unveiled several new models, including the 2025 Multistrada V4, Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, Scrambler Icon, Scrambler Full Throttle, and the Panigale V2. Prices for these upcoming motorcycles will be announced in the coming months as they make their way to the Indian market.
Ducati is also gearing up for the global unveiling of three new motorcycles at the Ducati World Premiere on November 28, 2024. These models are also expected to arrive in India by the end of 2025.
